Content, Rights and Removal Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026 Version: 1.4 — Brazilian pilot
This Policy explains which games and materials may be submitted, how the videos Partida publishes on its channel work and how to request a correction or removal.
1. Permitted games
The user may request the narration of:
- their own game;
- a game of a friend, opponent or student;
- a historical game;
- a public game obtained from a legitimate source;
- a tournament game whose feed allows reuse.
You do not need to be one of the players. However, the use must respect personality, copyright, contractual rights and the rules of the source.
2. What Partida creates
Partida uses the factual sequence of moves and produces its own analysis, script, voice, graphics, animation and editing. The delivery does not include authorization to copy or incorporate third-party editorial materials.
3. Materials prohibited without authorization
Do not submit or request the incorporation of:
- protected comments and annotations;
- audio or image from a sports broadcast;
- a photograph or portrait without the applicable license and image authorization;
- music, logo, font or artwork without a license;
- a cloned voice or an identifiable imitation of a real person;
- material obtained through intrusion, improper access or violation of the source's terms;
- intimate, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory or illegal content.
4. Names and usernames
Names and usernames may be filled in from the PGN or provided by the user. The user must verify their correctness and consider the context of publication.
Partida may:
- abbreviate or anonymize names;
- replace the players with "White" and "Black";
- refuse an offensive or misleading title;
- restrict display when there is a minor or a risk to the identified person.
It must not be suggested that a player sponsors, has approved or maintains a partnership with Partida without authorization.
Optional photos must depict the identified person, must not be misleading and require a specific confirmation of license and image authorization. Photos of minors require authorization from the legal guardian and consideration of the minor's best interests. Partida may reject, anonymize or remove a photo even after production.
5. Video privacy
During the pilot:
- customer videos are private or unlisted;
- unlisted videos may be accessed by anyone who holds the link or QR code;
- productions generated by users are not published on Partida's YouTube channel or in any other public space, except for the live stream that the organizer expressly contracts for Partida's channel (Terms of Use, section 9.2).
Partida will not use a private video in advertising without specific authorization.
6. Partida's YouTube channel
Partida automatically publishes, on its YouTube channel and on the site, narrated videos of games from public tournament broadcasts, chosen by Partida itself through automated curation — for example, wins by Brazilian players, upsets and games by top players. These videos:
- use only the moves, names, federations, events and results that are public in the official broadcast;
- have Partida's own script, voice, graphics and editing, generated automatically;
- when they show a player's photo, use an image from a source whose license permits the use, with the corresponding credit;
- do not suggest sponsorship, partnership or endorsement by players, organizers or platforms.
In addition to automated curation, the channel may show contracted live streams by organizers (Terms of Use, section 9.2). In these, the tournament is chosen by the organizer, not by the curation; the title and description are defined by Partida and identify the stream as contracted by the organizer, without suggesting sponsorship, partnership or endorsement by the players. Where there is sponsorship or payment that requires it, the live stream is flagged on YouTube as containing paid promotion. Contracted streams of youth categories may be refused or have names abbreviated.
Because selection and publication are automatic, there is no prior human review of each video. Anyone may request a correction or removal through the channel in section 8, and a video may be withdrawn at any time by editorial or legal decision.
7. Content involving children and adolescents
Productions submitted by users are never published by Partida. The channel's automated curation may choose public games from officially broadcast youth tournaments; requests from guardians to remove or anonymize these videos will be handled with priority. Requests involving a full name, photo, club, school or other elements that increase exposure will be assessed with priority and may require the guardian's authorization.
Content that exposes a minor to harassment, humiliation, safety risk or exploitation will be restricted or removed.
8. How to request a correction or removal
Any person may send a request to [email protected] with:
- the URL or identifier of the video;
- the excerpt or element in question;
- the requester's relationship to the content;
- the reason for the request;
- the desired correction or measure;
- contact for a reply.
We do not require an identity document as a first measure. We may request proportionate proof if there is a legitimate doubt about the identity, representation or ownership of the right.
9. Handling of the request
After receiving a request, Partida will seek to:
- confirm receipt;
- locate the content;
- assess risk and urgency;
- preventively restrict access when necessary;
- hear the party responsible for the publication, when appropriate;
- correct, anonymize, keep or remove;
- communicate the decision and the means to challenge it.
Requests involving a minor, physical risk, exposure of sensitive data, impersonation, fraud or apparently criminal content will be prioritized.
10. Challenge
The user affected by a removal may present context, authorization or proof of rights through the same channel. Restoration will not be automatic and will depend on the assessment of the case.
Partida will preserve the information necessary for the exercise of rights, investigation and compliance with a valid order, limiting its access.
11. Broadcasts and ongoing games
Partida must not offer analysis to a participant in an ongoing online game. The live narration uses official broadcasts, respecting the applicable delay, API limits and the organizer's rules; the moves and names displayed are the public data of the broadcast itself.
The use of public data from a platform does not authorize the use of its brand as if there were a partnership or endorsement.
